03/23/2007 - Karazhan, recruiting, and more
Congratulations to everyone who attended Karazhan tonight, it feels awesome to be finally raiding and clearing content again.  We'll continue to have a "pick up and go" style of raiding for now, with emphasis on our old raiding days (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc).  Until we have adequate numbers consistently for 10-mans and beyond, I am opening recruiting for select classes.  In particular, I will be looking for priests, rogues (possibly), and maybe a couple other healers.  A shaman or a druid might be a good addition.

I also fixed some links and images that were broken.  Hooray!

03/14/2007 - Launch of the new site!
After many long nights and several unsuccessful attempts, I think I've finally found something.  The site is not quite the pain the ass to update that it was before, visually, and so the updates should start flowing again soon.  In the meantime, here's a list of some of the stuff I changed, as well as some stuff that's still to come:

1.  As you can see, I'm getting rid of the old "50's diner" thing we had going on before.  I'm trading the look in for something a little more clean-cut in the hopes that it will be easier to maintain.... graphic replacement and things of that sort were a pain in the ass on the old one.

2.  Instead of making announcements on the forums, you can expect the "news" section of the site to be updated periodically.  The homepage may or may not be updated along with the news.

3.  I'm cleaning a lot of excess wordiness out of our About Us, Bank, and Features sections of the website.  A lot of files are also going to be rearranged, renamed, or deleted.  There are still a lot of "floater" files hanging on from the site's original launch in 2005.  Some of these files have already been deleted, and some will be deleted by the next update.  If you notice that an important page seems to be missing, notify me in-game.

4.  The bank page will now properly list all of the banks.

5.  I'm adding a new section to the "Links" part of the website that will contain shortcuts to some important and/or "historic" stickied threads in the Burrito Bandits forums.

6.  The news pages got a face lift.  The color schemes, alignments, and page titles should all be consistent now.  The Burrito Bandits logo should link back to the homepage from every page of the news, and I've created a master page (as you can see) containing understandably-organized links to every news page in the archive.  In turn, each page has a link back to this page (but not to all of the other news pages).

7.  The new "Armory" links will be replacing the old RPG Outfitter ones for our guild roster and data.  Also, I'm going to try to figure out a banking system that's easier to use than RPG Outfitter.

8.  There's a bunch of new pictures.  Hooray!  If you have any screenshots you'd like on the homepage or on other parts of the site, send them (in any format, but preferably high quality) to t y r a n n o s a u r u s @ g m a i l . c o m (sans spaces).  I can do all the formatting here or you can do it there, I just want your shots!

Apologies for the long absence of updates, by the way.  I assure you that between running a guild and running my life, the status of our webpage is sadly rather low on my "to-do" list.  More frequent updates should be possible from now on.  :)
