: Holiday Update!

Well, it's that time of year again!  The expansion is on the horizon, and the Burritos must make preparations.  A few things have been change and many others have been clarified, so be sure to click our Newsletter to find out more about the Burritos and the x-pack.

Raiding has ceased until post-expansion, at which point we will be a leveling/PvP guild until
we have 10-man (and higher) instances to conquer.

Happy holidays!

Burrito Bandits Delicious Holiday Newsletter!

The "Holiday Slows":  It's been remarked that there's not a whole lot going on these days, after raiding ceased.  I want to start this newsletter by assuring everyone that the slowness is intentional and not permanent, and that I want you all to spend quality time with your families and friends this season.... instead of playing non-stop WoW (wishful thinking, eh?  :) ).  Although guild activities are few in number, they will bounce back after the expansion and I will write us a new calendar, etc.  In the meantime, be resourceful about forming groups and don't be afraid to lead something yourself!

BB's new Direction:  Post-expansion, Burrito Bandits will be a fully expansion-driven guild.  We will discontinue raiding in old dungeons in order to progress through new content.  Players interested in running old instances for item gains after the expansion must be willing to seek help out-of-guild.

Raiding after TBC:  As of Thursday the 14th of December, all formal (point-allocating) raiding ceased.  Points reflecting our most recent raids should be available for viewing by the middle of the week, and these points will be frozen until raiding continues at a later date, TBA.

If anybody wants to keep raiding without using raid points prior to the expansion, that person is free to join raid groups with other guilds or form their own Burrito Bandits raid.  It is STRONGLY advised that the leader make an assertive effort to form the group on their own, instead of repeatedly inquiring (for instance) "Can someone form a ZG raid?"

Once 15-man and higher dungeons start appearing on the horizon, the point system will be re-instated and Burrito Bandits will continue raiding.

PvP:  PvP will be alive and well in BB after the expansion, from battlegrounds to the Arenas (when players hit 70).  It is suspected at this point that Burrito Bandits *will* have their own Arena Team, and details will be posted when there are more.

Applications:  The application process has been enhanced in order to allow further detail collection of applicants.  Applicants are now REQUIRED to look over the guild's regulations before applying.  Misunderstanding or obvious neglect of the guild's guidelines will result in a denied application.  Applications will now be processed within 3 days, and will receive a "Accepted", "Denied", or "Further information required (Contact Poj)" stamp.
