09/15/2006 :  All about Mods
In light of the recent RPG Outfitter article and our increasing need for the know-how to install mods, our very own Burrito Supreme Otter has written a basic guide on the mod download/installation process.  Click here to view the feature!

Additionally, in light of your requests, I have edited Burrito Loot to now include a partial attendance system in which raid participants receive 1 point for attending halfway through a raid and a second point for staying for the full raid.  Click here to view revised draft.

09/07/2006 :  All about RPG Outfitter

Since the news update I did a few days ago, I remembered something else that I meant to add to the list of things to do.

As most of you already know, our guild bank is accessible through a site called RPG Outfitter (rpgoutfitter.com). When you have a chance, please take the time to read the tutorial I wrote on RPG Outfitter and get yourself registered!  See below for more information on registering , and why you should:

RPG Outfitter - Register your Character!

Edit (09/12/2006):  I transformed the news post I made on the 7th into a full-length feature.  You can view that feature by clicking here.

09/02/2006 :  Double-Decker news week

....!!!!!!!!

With so much stuff going on in the guild, I decided to blow the usual format and just make a giant newsletter with all the goings-on in the guild, stuff that I think EVERYBODY should know.

Please read the letter!  Thank you!

Burrito Bandits Giant Newsletter
September 2006

First and foremost, congratulations to the guild for successfully downing all 5 priests in ZG!  Following our outrageous successes, I have a number of goals and timelines I hope to accomplish.  They are as follows:

Pre-Expansion:
--Cut down Recruiting:  I feel that our current player base is more than sufficient to make further progress in ZG (Hakkar, Jin'do).  It has been announced that post-expansion end-game dungeons are going to be limited at 25 people, and I want to prepare for leveling and the new content at the lower player cap.  I realize that we will most likely have a natural trickle of players coming in and out as usual.
--If we somehow amass 30+ people with a regular schedule before the expansion....  I will try to get us at least farming trash and maybe a few bosses in MC.  The plan right now is to focus on 20 and 25-man content, but if the demand grows high enough I may schedule a larger raid or two per week.
--Make any final changes to Burrito Loot:  There have been some floating concerns about Burrito Loot recently, and I would like nail down a final, gospel copy of the system before the expansion comes out.  To view a few of those concerns, please check out this forum thread.
--Send Hakkar back where he came from:  We need to get Thekal and Arlokk on confirmed farm-mode, and then set our sites to Hakkar!  I would like to get us one-try killing all 5 priests on the first day, with a Bloodlord/Hakkar day following.

Post-Expansion:
--Level up!  Top priority upon the expansion's release will be leveling up.  Once we get into the higher levels, I may start looking at MC and ZG with a smaller number of better-geared people.... but all official raids will likely be called off until the majority of the guild dings 70.
--Arena Teams:  I want the guild to form some active arena teams for PvP in the expansion.  I will post more about this when I've heard more myself.

Website Changes (Stuff I've changed at the time of this post):
--Animal House References :S  Hopefully none of the pages say "This Page is on Double-Secret Probation" anymore.... that was a leftover from my test copy of the website that I just changed.
--Centering:  I centered the pages that weren't centered already.
--Links:  A few new links were added!
--Burritobank:  Burritobank, our rep-item bank, now has a link from the bank part of the website from which you can view stock.

Thanks for reading!
