07/19/2006:  Summer Vacation (updated)

Hey all!  Not a whole lot new here, just thought I'd go ahead and announce a couple of things.  First of all, a warm welcome to all our new members and a "Welcome back" to Bastart.... I hope your trip was fun!

Secondly, (I posted this in the forums already), Poj will be on vacation from the 19th to the 29th.  I will not be able to access a computer during my time away, so I expect you all to behave yourselves accordingly!  If you need to form up groups for anything, please take the initiative to form them yourselves.

Officers:  I talked briefly to Bastart and Ahota on Tuesday, here's some other officer (and guild member) resources and thoughts for while I'm away:
--Raiding:
As most of you know, I'd like to keep our normal Wednesday and Thursday ZG runs going as fluidly as possible.  If there are at least 10 people and adequate healing to do a run, even if it's just for farming trash, I'd love it if an officer would step up and start inviting people.
--Recruiting:  Feel free to make recruiting pushes!  We're short on healing/caster power at the moment.... use your best judgment on deciding who to bring in, ask all those in question to apply and then review it from there.  :)
--Officer Apps:  I sent out some forum PMs to officers about this.  Again, use your best judgment!
--TS Info:  Our TS info (and Vent info) is listed in the "Guild Information" tab of the guild listing in-game.
--Events:  Guildies and officers, feel free to create your own events in the "EVENT SIGN-UP" portion of the forum.  There are directions there if you don't know how.
--45-minute Baron:  I know a lot of people in the guild need this.... try to get in touch with one another.  Polluxcodas, Elsalvador and Robargedo all need this in-guild (I think?), and possibly a few others as well.  "Pashmina" is the name of a priest who also needs this.

Other than that.... have a good time!  I'll be back and on again before you know it.

Cheers!  --Poj--

07/11/2006:  Looking Ahead
It's a time of growth and change in the land of the Burrito Bandits!  What does this mean?  Due to a raid leadership decision (see our forums for details on that), the Bandits are going to start independently leading our own raids, starting with this one on Sunday, at 9:30pm!  After this raid, ZG will pick up again on Wednesdays and Thursdays as usual.

Really, not a whole lot is going to change now that we are leading our own raids.  Here's some things that I want to alert you of, generally:
--Loot-Lists will be put into action as planned on Wednesday, and the current list will be saved (you will not need to roll again if you have rolled already, your spot will stay the same).  A viewable version of our list will be available shortly on this website, for now you can reference the list through this link.  Everyone who has been raiding currently and/or who attends this coming Sunday's raid will be invited to roll in before next Wednesday.
--ZG will be on Weds/Thurs, hopefully enough attendance will be observed in ZG this first week for us to start up AQ20 on Mondays as usual.
--The "RAIDS" link on our homepage will now go to our new raid sign-up page.
--Our Raid sign-ups and invites will now be first-come first serve making only minor adjustments for class balance.... try to be punctual so your spot doesn't get taken!
--Burritos at this time are still able to sign up for Dominion-run raids, and may continue to do so through their website

More than anything else, I want the raiding experience to be fun for everyone, and I'm willing to take all feed-back into consideration to make sure that this primary objective is met.  :)  Any ideas or questions can be posted in the forums.  Thank you all in advance!  I look forward to all
future raids!

07/07/200:  Rollin' rollin' rollin....
Well, Loot-Lists was revealed and now its almost time to put it into action.  What does that mean?  Well, it means for the next few days, Lucinth and Poj will be forming periodic test raids and recording rolls for all the various lists implemented by the system.  Try to be available at least once before the next ZG raid so you can get in on the rolling!

On a different note, I want to formally announce that within the next couple of weeks, I hope to start Burrito-exclusive ZG or AQ20 raids on either Tuesday or Friday.  These would be separate from our merged raids, and would be utilized to help ensure that everyone feels they are getting a chance to participate.  Click here to see our official forum post.

As always, I'd like to formally welcome all of our new members.  Welcome to the team!  Check back for new updates, and read the forums! There are also a couple of new links this week.

07/03/2006:  Mini site update
Just a mini-update.  The launch of the new site was remarkably painless (knock on wood).  A few new pages and links were added, and now all links and pictures should function properly.

Still on the way:  More graphics, more links, and probably more other shiny new things that I have forgotten about.

Just a reminder:  Get involved!  The forums are starving for more guild attention.

07/02/2006:  Bye-bye Arlokk, hello Hakkar!
I jazzed up the look of the website a bit.... let me know if you think I've gone "too far".  In addition to changing the way the website looks, I would like to formally congratulate everybody who attended the Weds/Thurs ZG raids on all the great boss kills, including (most notably) Priestess Arlokk, the last of the 5 ZG priests.  What does that mean for future raids?  Three words; Hakkar baby, yeah!!

I would also like to point out that the membership page, although considerably less fancy-looking, should now be updated 24/7.  Hooray!

About the new website:
--I simplified our look a bit.  As we expand, I feel it's important to keep our website looking fresh! Or like a 50s diner, at very least.
--The last pages will be added soon!  The "about us" page and a "help" page are soon to be added.
--More links and screenshots will be added soon!  Our links page will fill up, as will our features/screenshots page.
--If you find any broken links or images, report them here!
