05/30/2006:
Happy belated Deathday, Mandokir!
Sorry
about the lack of update, especially in
light of our downing of the Bloodlord
Mandokir in ZG! Didn't mean to
downplay this event in any way, I've just
been really busy. Way to go, guys!
It's a joy to continue raiding with you all,
and this group is showing some awesome
potential. Spider boss better get out
of our way.
In addition, I just fixed a couple of things
worth noting. First of all, the link
to the
guild bank's stock should now function
correctly. The old link only would
have worked if you had registered with the
site (I think).
There should be a complete update to the
Membership Roster page sometime soon..... as
soon as I can find time between WoW and
finals (it's that time of year for me).
So yeah. It'll happen soon hopefully
:)

TeamSpeak,
CT Raid Assist
In the meantime:
Keep turning in your runecloth!
Fister's contest runs until
June
10th
(recently pushed forward).

05/24/2006:
Some updated stuff
Lots of technical changes today, as well as
some PvP/calendar changes I thought I would
mention briefly. Due to how many
things got changed, I'm going to list them
in bullet form:
--First:
If
you hadn't heard already from his
post on the Eonar forums, Xyth is
looking for a few good peeps to start a
regular, dedicated PvP group with. I
know a bunch of you are probably interested
in this sort of thing, so get in touch with
Xyth if you are!
--Second:
I completely changed the format of the guild
bank. We are now using a 3rd-party
site (RPG
Outfitter) to update the guild bank's
stock. The regular bank page will
redirect you.
--Third:
Due to lack of able bodies on Saturday, the
AQ20 raid has become a ZG raid instead and
has been moved to Wednesday. This
means we will get two consecutive days of
raiding.
Dominion's raid calendar already
reflects these changes. If you have
any opinions on changing this schedule again
or revoking the change, please visit
this post in our forum to state your
concerns. Watch for dancing bears.
--Fourth:
This week's homepage shot was taken when
spontaneously, without any explanation,
everybody in Orgrimmar with a kodo decided
to get into a line. The probability of
such an event was so small, that this became
known as the Kodo Paradox and is thought now
to be mere scientific myth.

CT Raid Assist,
and
CT Raid Boss mods.

05/13/2006:
High Priestess Jeklik is no more!
Our second run into Zul'Gurub, Jeklik gets
it on the first attempt!
Congratulations everybody, this is quite the
accomplishment! I had a great time,
and as a guild leader I couldn't be happier.
Be sure to keep signing up, it is truly a
pleasure to be able to continually raid with
all of you. Next stop: Bloodlord!
On the PvP side of things, wanted to give
Xyth a big shout-out for hitting General
this week! Way to go!
Congratulations to everybody else who ranked
up, as well. Keep socking it to 'em
guys. :)
A few friendly raid reminders:
--Sign up early for future
raids.
If
you think you can come, better to sign up
early and be guaranteed a spot. If you
are unsure, sign up anyway. You can
always remove your name later.
--Please download
TeamSpeak,
CT Raid Assist,
and
CT Raid Boss mods.
I've been flexible up until now, but these
mods are really requirements at this point.
If you do not have these mods installed
by the time of our next raid, your spot may
be given to somebody else. This is
crucial, so pleeeeeeaaase take the time to
install these things. If you have any
problems, questions, or special concerns,
please talk to Poj. Only special cases
will be exceptions.
In the meantime:
Keep turning in your runecloth!
Fister's contest runs until June 3rd.
Final note:
The
bank and member pages will *hopefully* be
updated by the end of the week. Stay
tuned!

05/13/2006:
In the distance, I heard the sound of angels
singing....
....Not really. But! I am
extremely excited to announce that the
Burrito Bandits, in cooperation
with
Dominion and company, were successfully
able to overthrow High Priest Venoxis in
Zul'Gurub on Thursday. Our first ZG
raid ever, one boss down! Congrats
guys! I knew you could do it! To
follow along with our continuing ZG plans
and ideas, visit our
forums and chime in!
Another announcement!
Our
very own Fister is holding a runecloth
turn-in contest. The contest started
yesterday (the 12th of May),
and will run for three weeks, or until
June 3rd.
Prizes are as follows:
--First Place: 300g
--Second Place: 100g
--Third Place: 50g
Best of luck!

05/07/2006: New
Stuff all over the Place!
It may have taken me all day, but I
*finally* was able to get all of the website
updated. Apologies for any briefness I
may have exhibited today in guild chat...
I'm just glad to finally get this thing
done. Every part of the website is
updated now, including the Guild Bank and
Membership Roster sections. I even
gave the homepage and News pages cool new
looks! Hooray! The bank has
several new tier 0 BoE additions, so be sure
to check it out.
Also, there's a new feature written by our
very own Acabiscuit! Stop by and take
a look, it covers our
100 Member Party
in detail.

Last but not least, Blizzard has announced
several exciting things at
E3 that I thought I would make everyone
aware of. To find out more about any
one of these announcements, please visit the
WoW
mainpage:
--The new Alliance race will be the Draenei!
--There is a World of Warcraft big-screen
movie in the works.
--Tier 3 sets are coming.
Edit (05/19/2006): Blizzard has
posted the Tier 3 sets on their
community site!

05/07/2006:
New weekly calendar takes effect.
After reviewing feedback, Bastart's new
weekly schedule will take effect tomorrow
(Monday 5/8). I put the schedule in
several different places to make it
accessible. You can view it where our
homepage graphic usually is (scroll up a
tiny bit), in the main links bar as "Weekly
Calendar", and by clicking
here.
As of 05/24: Calendar removed due to
antiquity.
Other stuff: I did a couple of
graphical things to the titles of different
pages to unify them. Not big news, but
it had been bugging me for a while.
There's also a new edition of
Carebear Corner! Last but not
least, be sure to check back on Tuesday....
the bank and membership pages will be fully
updated.

05/03/2006:
Continued raiding, n'
stuff.
AQ20 on Saturdays is going to become a habit
for now (until/unless it looks like this is
going to be a bad day for
people). In addition, Saturday raids
will continue into Sunday.... so that there
is even more of a chance to progress before
the instance resets. You can continue
to sign up for all Saturday and
Sunday raids through allied guild Dominion's
calendar. The graphic link just below
our site navigation and weekly screenshot
will remain where it is placed, for easy
raid access. We will also be starting
to try and run ZG on Thursdays,
attendance-permitting.
Also, I'm pleased to announce the debut of "Carebear
Corner", a PvE column written specifically
for the website by our very own fabulous
druid, Otter! Click here or click the
graphic link to check it out!
Also, due to recent in-guild concerns, there
will now be a larger emphasis based on
maintaining a scheduled lineup of guild
group events. To add feedback to our
potential new calendar (the old one is out
of date), see
Bastart's thread in the raid section of
our guild Forum. Once the thread has
sufficient feedback, I'll post the official
schedule on our site.
