Since the Implementation of guild banks with
the 2.3 WoW patch, guild banking is a fun
and simple system that all members can
participate in. However, like before,
there are still restrictions and etiquette
that apply to all members with all access
levels. Since this is a relatively new
system, the various restrictions and limits
currently set on items and gold are all
subject to change. Most of the
etiquette, however, is the same as it has
always been.
Below is the currently maintained layout of
the guild bank. Please scroll past the table below to see
item access and etiquette.

Item access and etiquette
Viewability:
All tabs are viewable by the entire guild.
Deosits:
The
entire guild can make deposits. Please
do NOT use this as an opportunity to fill
the bank with useless crap, or ability to
deposit will be taken away.
Withdrawls:
All guild members aside from Beans are
permitted to withdraw 2 items/stacks per
tab, per day, 5 in the case of the
Banana
tab. This is definitely
subject to change, but the limit is designed
to prohibit excessive withdrawls. At
this time, please contact an officer if you
need additional items.
Paying back/replacing:
It is not mandatory to donate after a
withdrawal, but please only interact with
the bank in a way you think is fair.
If you have no items to give, even a few
spare gold here and there will really help
the guild out. If you take out some
new bags, leave behind your older, smaller
ones for someone else.
No Resales:
Bank items must be consumed within the
guild, not sold or used to craft items for
non-guild members.
Liquidation:
All items that idle in the bank for long
periods of time may be liquidated for cash.
A
public "thank you" to everyone who donates!
Gold loans and management
Guild expenditures:
Gold can be used by officers to purchase
additional guild bank slots and raiding
reagents. All gold not put to this use
will be available for loans, and the amount
available for loans should be maintained at
no less than 400g.
Handling:
Gold withdrawals are only accessible to
officers, and all loans must be processed
through officers.
Use:
It
is expected
that loans be used toward re-specs, mounts,
necessary equipment upgrades, or any other
sort of "necessary" purpose.
Limit:
There is no "limit" on the amount of gold
that can be borrowed from the bank, but
loans will be evaluated subjectively based
on previous loan payback and general player
reliability.
Loan log:
Your
name will not be listed on the site, but
your name and amount borrowed will be
written down and also noted in the form of
officer gold withdrawawls.
Paying back gold: Gold
must be paid back in the form of gold.
This helps keeps our balance from
fluctuating. You will not be able to
take out another loan until you have repaid
your previous debt.
Interest:
No
interest is charged on loaned gold, but you
will be expected to pay it all back. A
note will be kept with your tab. |
